Toy Cars And Models Magazine

Don't Mean to be harsh here, but it's no great loss.

The magazine never took hold of any aspect of enthusiasm for the hobby... it was just kinda 'there', with no identity or message to speak of. That's just not enough today. They had opportunities to raise their game, and they just didn't.

Final issue has a nice write-up on the West Coast Precision Die Cast Chevies, though, and we appreciated that.

No big loss. I used to read it when I was into collecting and modifying diecasts but after I quit doing that it had little to interest me. The modeling articles weren't enough. However maybe this means you could snake a couple authors and some advertising for MCM Gregg.
