JTninja
I remember a while ago that some company was working on a 1/24 Saleen S7R. Anybody know about this and whats going on with it, or perhaps a link? The S7R is one of my most favorite cars, and if we're going to have kits for cars like the CRX and Corolla, why not a Saleen? Joe Handley
There was a diecast one made by Testors IIRC several years back.
JTninja
I saw that one, but the one ive seen recently (but cant find now) was either plastic or resin, modelled in white. There was also the new 997 RSR posted as well...
ismaelg
I have not seen any. You can contact Ed Cervo at islandcollectibles.net or Kevin at StradaSports.com If it exists, they should know about it and can get it for you. Thanks, Edited December 8, 2007 by ismaelg
Zoom Zoom
Joe Vondracek of Quick Skins had been working on an S7R for awhile, don't know whatever happened of it, and he's currently taking a break from resin casting due to life getting in the way. I think someone else may be working on one. The diecast model isn't very good, nor is it the race version.
Brendan
Scale Productions is the company that's making the Saleen S7GTR. It will be a race version of the car, not the street version. I believe it's going to be one of the cars that ran in the FIA GT and ELMS. Quick Skins is not making the Saleen. He is producing a BMW M3GTR. chris coffey
Now would be a good time for Model Factory/Hiro to get a Saleen S-7 going!! Love there kits, but not terribly crazy about there prices, but that is just me. Maybe Tamiya (are you guys listening??) will think about this one!!!! hey, a guy can wish, can't he?? 7000in5th
If you like GT1 racers, including the Saleen S7R, here is a comprehensive list of 1:24 and 1:25 scale bodies for slot racing. They are required to have very complete interiors and should be buildable as decent shelf models. Slot Racing Le Mans Data Base
