I had a Corvair with no roof.

I had a Camaro (I don't like em too much) WITH a roof.

Wh... What are you doing?

You can't be serious. You can't be...

Don't do it. Don't EVEN do it.

Actually, that looks pretty good!

Yeah, it does!

I'm thinkin a V8 swap, or a V6, still in the rear.

I'll keep the Corvair rear lights.

Rallye rims? Maybe. Probably mags.

More soon.

... I have some sort of strange love for Buick Nailhead engines.

You should get that checked. It can cause a rash. <_<

Interesting concept, but to my eye, the roof on your mockup looks a little tall, and the windshield pillars a little too upright at this point.

The pillars only look a bit too tall because there's still plastic around em in that picture. As it sits mow, waiting for putty to dry fully, they're down more.

I suggest making it a "phantom" GM corporate design study, add period specific body styling cues depending on which engine you go with.

Like maybe a Buick version of a mid-60's rear/mid engine concept car.

I like that idea.

Found out I have to repair the rear wheel flanges because they were brutally knifed out long ago.

Here's a picture before I go to school.

Needs more sanding....

Have another!

Sorry for the bad pictures. iPad likes to flip sideways while taking pictures sometimes.

The sail panel(C pillar) area kinda looks like the Yenko roof extensions but with a flush back window.

You might consider putting in some '67-'68 Camaro tail lights to really make people do a double take.

I like this. I have my artist buddy John Farrow drawing up my so called "got rich project" rendering. A 70 to 72 Buick GS/GSX roadster / salt flat car. I call the project INVADER. A mid engine, two seat concept might be cool. An area behind the seats would flip open to service the engine. maybe the hood scoops could be stylishly placed there. Maybe all wheel drive? Maybe a supercharged 455. Maybe a removable hardtop. Sorry, I could not help myself for this post.
