  1. Man! I've been following your stuff for a while man. This is amazing. I love the bed! I've been planning on doing a flatbed and never got around to it. This has definitely given me some ideas. Great job!!!
  2. Dude That's a baaaaad truck!!! Did you buy those leaf springs in resin or did you make them? This is superb!
  3. That's an outstanding build man. Let me know when your making them to order. How much will they be?
  4. Earl is awesome... I met Earl here on modelcarmag and I bought a truck from him and we got talking on the phone about building stuff and he sent me a mess of pictures and such and he really inspired me to start scratch building cause I was always a box stock builder with really slight custom as in different wheels or a motor swap so to make a long story short I said what the heck and I drove from Jersey to Georgia to learn some scratch building and got a best friend out of it to!!!
  5. Lol That's true... I have alot more accomplished on this just haven't had time to post images and progress report... hopefully will do by this weekend.... I never did like the pickup conversion on a Pete or a Kenny unless it was a made bed like I'm doing... hopefully this will come out better than my expectations... Thanks looking. Check back shortly for updates
  6. Definitely unique! I love that you kept the engine in the front That's a Nice touch
  7. These are some really Nice builds man. I love the Red falcon. I'd like to see more pics of it... where did you get those cool rims? I'm assuming off a diecast. It looks like dubcity rims lol
  8. That's definitely an odd little bugger but if it was a kit I'd buy it!!! Call me weird to baby!!! Lol good job dude!
  9. Beautiful paint job Wow!!! What color is that? It's beautiful
  10. I'm pretty sure There's nothing you can do man. I would just get another set from a resin company like model care garage Maybe
  11. This is one of the sexiest Cars I've seen on this site!!! Magnificent job dude!
  12. Yeah those headlights suck lol. Next time I'll scratch build something different or whatever. But on the glossy finish topic... it's crazy how I got that glossy finish. I layed down 3 coats of testors one coat Lacquer. The firsttwo I let dry on the shelf but the third I put near the stove after my wife was fonished cooking and it dried fast and smooth so I decided to open the little toaster oven and leave the door down and turn it to 225 degrees and I sprayed 2 coats of lacquer clear and just let take it in the heat and turning the car a quarter every 5 mins ( car was about 10 inches inside of the toaster oven ).... no need for all that sanding. Came out great... have yet to try it with enamel. I'll let you know. Thanks man
  13. This is the special edition reissue kit that revell made into a skill 3 2n1. I comees with alot of extra parts and a complete extra motor wwhich is a 5.0 carbed. It's a Nice kit but it's definitely quirky. There's a handful of major parts that just aren't molded right. If I had my time over and could've prepared for it that I would've went crazy with detail but those parts just frustrated the snot out of me lol Thanks Michael .
