  1. I might have these. Look tonight and get back to you. Larry
  2. I am wanting to purchase or trade for several sets of the tires and wheels from this kit. I need both fronts and back rims and tires and center hubcaps. Do not care what color the plastic is as I will be painting them. Thanks Larry
  3. Got a little time at the bench tonight. I reworked the front of the up top to mate better with the windshield frame. And still working on back side bottom contour to mate up with the body. Also sanded the first coat of primer on the body. Will let sit for a few days and then hit it with another coat and sand again. Thanks for all the feedback. Much appreciated!
  4. I want to build several '32 Fords this year and all different than the bodies that come in the kits. I have ordered a few from Ed at Drag City and waiting for them to come in. I had purchased the B400 from Flinstone. It arrived and was less than what I thought I was going to get. Warped, to wide and very thick. It wasn't really usable at all for a full fendered build. BUT....I was able to cut the cloth roof off and start to rework it for this project, so I guess not all is lost! A little more work and this might just fit and look good on here!
  5. I've had this image in my head for some time to do a '32 Phaeton based off the Revell 32 kit. I always thought the Monogram '30 Touring would be a good rear section starting point, and the front cowl and tub from the Phantom Vickie for the front part of the body. Lee Owens was kind enough to give me the body parts from a Phantom Vickie kit I needed, and I sourced my box of rebuilders for an old Monogram Early Iron 30 Touring. Some slicing and dicing and a coat of primer, and it's a good start to a custom creation. This is NOT going to be a stock appearing car so some liberties are going to be taken to make it a total custom.
  6. l love what you are doing! I I am working on one as well. It is more of a custom as I am using the Phantom Vicky front cowl and duval windshield and making it a 2-door phaeton. I used the top part of the 30 touring and scratch build the lower rear section and made new body line molding aruond the fenders. I plan to run fenders as shown.
  7. Interested in the Body windshield frame and interior if you want to sell or trade.
  8. I am looking for a DuVal style windshield frame for a 32 ford. Can me from the Phanton Vicky kit or an aftermarket one. Willing to purchase or trade. Thanks Larry
  9. A Ron Cash resin body from 1993 - a Ghia Camino custom These are hard to come by. And while it has a few issues from the master (windows are not perfectly square and one side rear is a little higher than the other) it has been on my list to add to my VW collection. With its shortcomings I knew it would be a curbside and not a full detail project. - Scratch built belly pan and interior panels. Seats and dash from the parts box. Steering wheel, pedals and shifter from a Tamiya bug kit. - Splash Paints Racing Green Metallic with a little green pearl powder added to the clear for some added sparkle. - Mr. Model’s interior decals added to the seats and door panels to add a little pop to the tan leather interior. - Finks Garage 3D printed tires and wheels. - Photo etch license plate holder and Detail junkies license plate. Fun quick project that came out nice. Enjoy
  10. This started as a bad resin casting. The body was warped as you can see the area behind the cab tilts upward, and lots of soft details. I figured it would make a good weathering project. Sitting on a Tamiya van chassis. Suspension was lowered to show aged, worn-out parts and the tires had some of the bottoms shaved off to show low/deflated tires. Added the rear canopy and bars. The junk on the bed consists of a resin Finks Garage engine in pieces, 2 of the Jackman rims mounted on tires and a huge cardboard box filled with who knows what. Inside the cab is another box with resin exhaust pipe and muffler. The headlights that came with it were terrible, so I left them off and added wires to show them being removed. I made a simple base to display it on. Might go back and add the taillights but kind of like the way it looks like it has been slightly picked over for parts. Enjoy.
  11. The grill and hood are the 2 easiest ways to tell. The 64 has a straight across hood where the 65 have a peak in it, pointing outward in the middle. Blue on is 64, red one is 65.
  12. I acquired this '64 in May as a rebuilder in a bag. It had been stripped of paint and in pieces. I thought it was a '65 at first. To my surprise it was a '64 and glad it was!! Parts list: Splash Paints - color and clear on body Craft store paint for interior color. Pegasus rims, tires and disc brakes. Detail Master goodies under the hood. Mr. Model decals for center of seats and door panels. Detail Master steering wheel painted to match interior color. Shifter from 32 Vicky custom interior. Was going for a period custom/lowrider from mid to late ‘60s. Turned out to be a great addition to my collection! Enjoy
