3gear
I love this body style Chevy Pickup. My favorite!!!! This was a simple out of the box build, other than the wheels / tires. It was my first attempt using desoldering wire to mimic steel braided hose in the engine, and learning blackwash. That is the only detail work in the engine... I like how the grill, air cleaner and door seams worked out with the blackwash. THe cowl air intake not so much.
randx0
Cool truck . washes are a great technique , sometimes black isn't always the way to go . You can also darken the body color or lighten depending on the situation . not saying this would be the case here but just try it out . I like this model it builds up great another technique to try on this one would be to sand the back of the grille to open up the teeth . chunkypeanutbutter
X2 on opening the grille. I did that with mine and it looks 1000 times better.
Danno
Nice. Try the opening-the-grille-by-sanding-from-the-back trick. It looks great!
