Christopher J
Just finished this one a couple months back. Tried some new techniques on painting to help give a better finish. Due to a few mods with hoses the air intake didn't QUITE fit right . And the firing order was not wired correctly but I built it for me, not for show. MeatMan
Nice build Chris. Looks like you put a lot of work into it and it paid off.
djmcguire
Whatever the new techniques were they paid off as that's a great looking finish...on one of my favorite cars.

rsxse240
I really like how you made the door open like a real car, rather than having the trunk/boot lid style hinges that make the door swing way out from the body. Did the fender flares come with the kit? My GN doesn't have them. Is your's the Revell/Monogram?
The70judgeman
@Ken- It's actually an '87 GNX. They came with the faux air extractors, fender flares, bigger wheels/tires(Z rated Good year), and other things with the engine & turbo that the regular Grand National's didn't have. Plus, a low production run...548 if I'm not mistaken. Edited January 10, 2015 by The70judgeman

They are reversible so the door can be swung into the body like GM and other makes or open away. Thanks to all for the compliments. I looked at them on their website and can't figure them out. Are they user friendly or is it something for the pros? Do you have photos of during the build? Christopher J
They are user friendly. You'll need some small needle nose to bend along the score lines. I couldn't find straight pins tiny enough in "diameter" to fit the holes so I used small pieces of straightened hard line.
landman
Thanks. I'll try some.
