landman
Are there any kits made of the early 60's GMC B-7000?
Chuck Most
There was a B-series cab available a few years ago- IIRC it was mastered by Evan Hermel but I don't recall who cast it.
landman
If you look closely, the cab is very similar to the '65 Chevy pickup's. Using that and the hood of a Ford N 600 I'm sure I can cobble a good semblance of a B 7000.
Chuck Most
You should be off to a pretty good start going that route. The cab shell is the same- the doors, glass, and most of the outer panels and structure interchanged with the pickup cabs. The floor and firewall might have differed slightly, but I don't know that for a fact.
landman
Is there a kit of GM's gas V6's made? Like this one?
Fabrux
Sadly, no. I've thought about starting with a Chevrolet W engine but beyond chopping two cylinders off the piston angle would need to be changed from 90° to 60°...beyond my current skill set. landman
Too bad, With this one, we could use the heads, intake and exhaust manifolds and valve covers on a scratchbuilt block.
Chuck Most
Jeff Harper used a Linberg 1:20 S-10 V6 for the basis of one he built, then scratchbuilt the heads and rocker covers.

Chuck Most
Not that I'm aware of. The '64 GMC crew cab he built it for is on his club's website but there aren't any engine pics. http://www.masscar.com/jeff-harper.html
