By golly, I'D like to do both shows next year. Sure would be fun to load up the Cactus Car Modeler bus and head for Jersey. Does anyone know what the date is for NNL East next year? I would like to avoid a schedule conflict with Desert Scale Classic. Thanks to everyone for the kind comments regarding the show. This will be our 8th year for the Desert Scale Classic. And each year it has grown with modelers attending from all over the west and mid-west (and even our friends from Puerto Rico). We are looking forward to putting on a quality event for all who attend.

The Desert Scale Classic model car contest and swap meet is scheduled for Saturday April 26, 2008, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the Postal Workers Social Hall, 3720 W. Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85053. There will be 29 classes (including 4 kids classes) with trophy awards. We also will have a kids make 'n take, raffle prizes, a project display table and demonstrations/seminars. The HH message board is a top notch forum. I understand Tom Carter will keep it going in some form. I think what I will miss most are the periodic catalogues. They always were fun to receive and read through as a guage of values, especially in the pre-ebay era.

I saw a Dean Jeffries Mantaray resin body a couple of years ago on that big auction site. I didn't win the auction and have never seen another one. Does anybody know where I could get a resin body for this show car? Thanks, Bernie
