making plastic look like weathered wood ,

Well guys I hope this helps ,

step -1 ; i paint the trim in folkart paint , color is cinnamon , may need 2 coats depending on the shade you want ,

step -2 ; paint the panels with folkart paint ,color raw sienna ,agen i used 2-coats ,

step -3 ; paint on the [ DISTRESS CRACKLE PAINT ] ,THEY SAY THE THICKER IT IS PUT ON THE MORE DISTRESSED IT GETS ,

I use a blow dryer to speed up the drying time ,

step -4 ; I use a flat black wash over every thing ,let dry ,all the paints i use are the FOLKART paints ,this is where you start to see things looking old ,

step -5 ; i dry brush on a light gray ,

step -6 ; i agen will go over it with a flat black wash ,and i,m done .

MIKE , you are welcome .I hope it helps , b.t.w. all the paints are done with a brush , that back section only took about 30 minutes to do but with pics and posting it took longer to get it on here,
