jrherald420
Dont know if anyone posted pictures yet but i bought 2 of these. 67.00 each. The bed and yellow parts tree are the onlt new parts. The black trees look old and have not as much detail and more flash and sink holes. This kit will take some work! jrherald420
Im planning on building one as a Stock Unimog Rallye and the second one as a post apocalyptic type truck with weapons and a big plow on the front. Never built anything like that before, should be fun. Lots of other builds to finish first.
Edsel-Dan
I believe this is a Re-issue of the Dakar kit from a few years ago. And, Yes, The basic Unimog has been offered for several years! I Think I got my first 3 of it in 88!!!! TLF 8/18 Fire Department version First RoG Imports I found in a store Paid $10.oo each for them at a Big Lots/Odd Lots in McKeesrocks Pa!!! Was interesting finding the Round Tape tabs they used to SEAL the kit, versus the Shrink-Wrap done here!!!!! Rob Hall
Those RoG Mogs look like neat kits...I've thought about getting one, maybe the blue THW version. I'd love to see them do one of the older ('60s vintage?) ones with the rounded front cab..
Aaronw
You read my mind Rob. I've got the plow version and the rescue truck but the tires in both kits are ruined, they got soft and kind of melted. Hope Revell fixed what ever the issue was on those older tires, might pick one of these up so I can cast the tires for the other two, plus this is kind of a neat version on its own. jrherald420
I would love to have another set of these rims and tires. I am going to talk to a local guy on how much it would be to mold and cast a set for me.
