House of Kolor Paint, Where do I get it?

Recommended Posts

I ordered online some House of Kolor paint (hobby scaled metalflake/pearl) a couple of years ago, but alas I cannot recall where I purchased it from. More recently I purchased some from an auto parts store, but I thought the metalflake was too large. Is Walmart's full size metalflake?

I live in Minneapolis.

Your Help Appreciated

You can also get HOK from Coast Airbrush (They do not thin there's so you will have to do it), TCP Global sells it pre-thinned and if I remember correctly, they both sell everything that HOK offers.

Coast offers 1 ounce; 2 oz; 4oz and even larger sizes if you want that much.

TCP offers 2oz and 4oz sizes.

Slixx also offers the HOK from Black Gold. And these are the REAL stuff so be sure to have a respirator when using it.

The metal flakes in the KBC series (a mixture of pearl and kandy paints that needs less coats) of HOK paints are small enough to be more in scale.

Hope that helps!

If you have a local Car Quest auto paint store, check with them. The one here in town carries the complete HoK line, from the un-thinned 2oz. & 4oz. plastic squeeze bottles to the gallon size.

The guy here has gotten to know me and now gives me a pretty good discount!

Just one other option to explore.
