Bonekrosha
Rustoleum has a new spray paint out called Gloss Maui Blue #268292.I think it is a really good likeness of Petty Blue.I am unsure how close the new Petty Charger kit that is molded in what they call "Opaque Blue" is to being Petty Blue but I used the new paint on a Petty project I am doing and it looks almost dead on with the blue plastic in the kit.Just figured I'd throw it out there. It sprayed out awesome straight from the can by the way... Harry P.
Or you could go with actual Petty Blue from MCW.
Dragline
Tamiya TS-23 over white primer. Bob
kalbert
I might pick up a can and try it out! What do you use for neon rocket red?
Bonekrosha
Harry: The paint is like $5 and right down the road at Lowes as opposed to paying what I would think is more money for much less paint from MCW and ave to wait on the mail to boot )))))))))) Bob: Cheaper than Tamiya too Kyle: My project is all blue, no red. Dragline
The red is Tamiya TS-36 Flourescent Red over white primer. It is tricky since it get darker as layers are applied. So rule of thumb is 2 even coats and it's a dead on match.. That is cheaper for the blue Mike. I'll pass it along and try it myself. Hope I helped with the red.
