  1. Hello folks! It's been a while since I've posted, but here's my Mustang Pace Car I completed back last month. I've wanted to do a pace car for sometime, and finally had time to do it. Paint is factory Ford Pewter poly and flat black with remastered pace car decals from Speedway Decals. He also made the seat patterns for me as well. Power is from a Revell GT500 and a 6 speed. Full airbag suspension gets the car nice and low over Aoshima BBS SS3 wheels, which have been widened in the rear. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. Thanks for looking! ?
  2. That turned out awesome! I've had one if these kits for years, but this makes me want to build it. Beautiful job.?
  3. When I built my 66 Fairlane, I used the Revell Thunderbolt block, water pump, belt, and 4 speed, the 33 Willys heads, valve covers, and front cover, the AMT Fairlane 427 intake, carbs, and air cleaner. The valve covers were stripped of chrome, and sprayed with Testors Fabric Grey. Then i used the breathers from the AMT 66 Galaxie reissue. The cast header manifolds from the AMT 60 Starliner were modified to fit. Not correct but i wasnt trying to build headers.
  4. I was looking through some parts boxes today, and came across these 3 out of 4 wheels. I have no idea what they are from. They are molded in yellow. The rears are wider than the fronts. They have been painted what looks like Testors Steel. Id like to get a complete set, but have no clue where to start. Thanks for looking!

  6. Hey everyone. I haven't posted anything in a while, because I haven't finished anything in a while lol. But I was fooling around with this kit one evening and thought it would look pretty neat like this. I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but thats what modeling is about. Building things your way. So, this is how i did it. Paint is PPG factory Ford Desert Tan and Light Desert Tan. A scratch built bed floor covers the imaginary suspension and large diameter wheels from a Maisto Pro Rods diecast car. Its just a curbside, but i still had a blast building it. All comments welcome!
  7. Hello everyone. I was thinking about replicating a spray in bed liner in an 89 F150 I'm building. It's far from box stock, as its bed floor has been raised. I was wondering what you guys could think of that I could use. I want the inside of the bed to be matched to the body color. Any ideas would be great!
  8. That is the engine from the Foose Cadillac. The intake is from the AMT 57 Chevy street machine. And the headers are from the Revell 67 Chevelle Pro Street.
  9. I was wondering if there's anybody out there who does custom decal work, in a timely manner. I've got a few things I would like to get done. I haven't had any luck with the Testors decal program and paper. I need them printed on clear decal paper as they will be going on an orange car. Thanks for looking!
  10. Thanks for the comments! I got a few things taken care of on the 55. The 1:1 Has a set of breathers on each valve cover. I used the breathers from the Revell 41 Willys street rod and added them to some quarter round styrene rod to make them. Next is the inner fender wells. Heres the real engine: And here's the 1:25th scale.
  11. Thanks for the comments! I got a little more done in the 55. The 1:1 has its vent windows removed and cowl area shaved. I also started on the mechanical side as well. The engine and transmission are from the Foose Cadillac kit, the intake from the AMT 57 Chevy street machine kit, and an air cleaner from an AMT 68 GT500 thats been shortened and smoothed. Headers are from the Revell 67 Chevelle Pro Street kit, with modified collectors. I hope to have the body in color by the end of the month. The color came from the man himself, Scott Sullivan. He was nice enough to send me a pint of paint from Ohio, so the color will be dead on. As always, all comments are welcome.
