So it is every hot rodders favorite 350/350 combo,which is a little dated now-a-days. Hopes this helps. Could be a 283, 302, 327, 350, or 400, some other oddball displacements that aren't as well loved, or even an early 265 updated to look newer. All the "smallblock" Chevrolet engines look much alike overall, and with detail and parts changes, can be somewhat difficult to identify in a model. cobramike Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 It's a small block chevy motor. probably Those are popular. I am building that kit also and it's a 327ci motor. I am not using the motor from the kit, I replaced it with a Ford 289ci. from a 94 Mustang kit. The ford motor looks more natural I think but then I am a ford guy! Bleed Ford blue!
