f1ford48
lately ive been building abandoned, junker and barn finds in diecast. I use a real iron paint and then a mild acid wash so the rust finish you see is real rust- it works on plastic as well.

uncle potts
Loved the Jag. Would like to know how you did the cobwebs. They are very convincing and realistic looking. I've done 1 1/25 scale junker in a diorama I built and have started on another that would benefit from some well placed cobwebs. Would love to know how you pulled it off. Thanks, Paul
f1ford48
Hi Paul- and thanks...the cobwebs are the real deal- I let these sit out behind the house a few years and they decorated themselves!!! part of my process is natural ageing by the elements-sounds crazy but it works for me. uncle potts
That explains why they looked so real. I however, am not so brave as to leave my stuff outside.
