64 fairlane gasser

This is my newest project. An old fairlane thunderbolt ive had for years. Body had a horrible paint job gone wrong, so it was put away and haven't thought about it forever. Started thinking about doing a gasser build, 1- because I love the style, 2- because ive never done a gasser build. Anyway, got out the old fairlane and bathed the body in super clean for a day and it was like brand new. Also did some shopping and got a 41 willys gasser kit as a donor for the front axle assembly, wheels and tires, blower setup and headers, and some other small pieces. Also wanted to use a boss 429 engine that I had laying around from an old 70 boss 429 mustang that is gone now. I cut out the rear fenders to clear the big rear tires from the willys, cut out most of the inner fenders to clear the headers, got rid of all the stock front suspension and mounts and mocked up the new straight axle and leaf springs, did very little to make the 429 fit like a glove, and mocked up the blower and etc... I'm also planning to paint it Testors one coat Mystic emerald, and would like to paint the windows with clear yellow, just have to find where to get some of that. Here is pics so far.

Been working on removing the chrome strips that go down the sides of the car, gassers are usually as plain as it gets in this aspect. Ground off the strips carefully with a dremel, then hand sanded til flat, applied squadron putty over the areas on both sides and have started to sand smooth. I will get pics up once both sides are done and possibly in primer.

Got a few more things done on my 64 fairlane. mocked the motor in and cut a hole in the hood, smoothed out the engine bay and added roll cage tubes from the firewall to the frame.

Also put in some subframe connectors, added rear mounted shackles to the front and rear leaf springs, added upper shock mounts for the front shocks, added front bumpstops, added a steering box, and got rid of the gas tank and filled the hole with styrene, still need to sand and finish everything but its coming together.

able to get duplicolor filler primer in the body after removing the chrome down the sides. had to apply putty in this area a couple times before primer. gonna block sand the body in a couple days with 600-800 grit. looks very plain right now without the side trim but that's the look im going for for this build. again thanks for looking.
