vypurr59
In painting stripes, I paint the stripe color, then mask the stripes, then paint body color. Works for lighter colored stripes. Dark stripes over light color body, I reverse procedure.
Ace-Garageguy
You will get more responses if you put questions in the "Question and Answer" place. This "Tips, Tricks, etc" is for folks to explain how they've already figured out solutions to problems, not to ask questions. As far as stripes go, careful masking is critical. Use a quality, fine-line tape. Some guys use BMF to get really clean masked edges, and it works very well. You can also use decals for stripes, depending on the colors and widths you need. Decal sheets with lots of configurations of stripes are available on ebay, for instance.
