Pro Tech's new part

Recommended Posts

The Linkages look great Charlie!, Bought some parts off you a few years ago when I was livin' in Fl., (spark plugs, boots, rear coil overs & some other parts),and they all look great. I'll be ordering some more parts soon (hopefully within a month) for my Pro-Mod builds.

Charlie, any chance of these being offered on the rubber backed material (unfretted)?

shucky, no, this set will only be offered as is. It would be too cost prohibitive (cost to modeler/end user) to do them the other way.

Charlie, even if it doubled the price, there are those who would pay for the convenience. I would also say that some modelers hate PE because attached, it's more hassle than it's worth. As for me, you're gonna be getting an order from me shortly and I look forward to working with you.

In the meantime, don't fret over it (see what I did too?).

Batzilla, yes actually it would double the cost of the product and even though I would gain a few modelers that would like the ease of not cleaning up the frets I would lose 5 times as many due to a $11.00+ set of linkages so it's not the best way to go in the business sense. Taking that same thought process (user friendly product) I have designed a few of my photoetch items i.e. Racing Harness Set (PTMC 17), Hood Pins (PTMC 6), with that in mind. The Racing Harness Set does not require you to do any bending of the buckles or do any looping of the belt material through the buckles. I designed this set to allow for very easy assembly with very realistic results. The Hood Pins is another original design I came up with that has the "pins" etched onto the plate as a one piece unit. This allows those that do not want to make a functional unit an alternative to a good looking photoetch hood pin assembly.

Thanks in advance for your order and thanks to all that support Pro Tech,

Charlie
