  1. Yup! Don't forget you get to point and laugh at all the mistakes I make too!
  2. Not really looking to do a community, just a long term project goal of mine. I want to have them all lined up like a set. Thanks for the links Danny and O-man! I'll add them to my bookmarks folder for purchase later.
  3. I would love to take part in this. Put me down for the 99 R34 from 2 fast 2 furious.
  4. Usually it is, but I try not to sound like I live here since I'll be moving in a few months. Thanks for the tip. I'll figure something out then.
  5. So I randomly got this idea to do models for all the major cars from the old Japanese Manga/Anime Initial D. Just curious if anyone has ever done this and if they've got tips for specific model kits to avoid? I've found the following kits so far. 85 Toyota AE 86 - Aoshima 99 Mazda RX-7 FC3S - Aoshima Mazda RX7 FD3S - Aoshima 05 Subaru Impreza WRX - Fujimi Nissan Silvia Kit - Tamiya Nissan Skyline R32 - Tamiya Lancer Evo IV - Hasegawa Kits I haven't found yet: Honda Civic SiR II (EG6) Sileighty (RPS13) Lancer Evo III Thoughts? Tips? Gripes? Complaints?
  6. Hey everybody, just getting into modeling again after dabbling in it a little more in my adolescent years. I figure now that I'm in my 20s I can afford to spend some more time and money on really making some cool stuff. Currently working on getting an acceptable area set up where I can paint and piece these models together. Unfortunately the only real usable rooms for me are in the basement but none of them have very good ventilation and I'd like to get started airbrushing. Am I stuck having to put together a paint booth right away or can I just kind of squeak by with a mask and water based paints for a bit?
