topher5150
I'm looking at repainting an older modle of mine. I'm just debating would it be easier just to cover everything that doesn't need paint, or would I be better off taking it apart and redoing it? Ace-Garageguy
I'd recommend taking it apart and doing it right. You can't do a really nice paint job on a 1:1 car without dis-assembling it, much less a model. Then again, it depends on what you want the finished results to look like. If you don't mind overspray on stuff, difficult-if-not-impossible masking and resulting bleed of the paint under the tape edges, and a devil of a time polishing it, well by all means, leave it put together.
