Barbo
Hi.....this my 1/24 tribute Diorama to those that are not with us today . It's not a matter of world history , its a matter living the moment that will never be forgotten . Two years ago I was at New York at the design exhibtion for the future and new buildings that would replace the World Trade Center . And believe me, none of them were at my agreeable . If I would of been the person responsible to choose the new skyscrapers , I would of done the same World Trade Center structures with no changes at all......PERSISTENCE is the power of glory....Barbo http://s123.photobucket.com/albums/o295/mb4985/FL000002.jpg http://s123.photobucket.com/albums/o295/mb4985/FL000004.jpg Edited September 4, 2007 by Barbo
MonoPed
Nice work, Barbo! And I agree with ya, the only thing that should be built where the twin towers stood, are the twin towers.

carsntrucks4you
Hi Barbo, great tribute. I also build a diorama as a tribute to people how died at 911. When I had build build had problems to show it to modellers from the US, specially residents of New York. It shows a NYPD car cover with dust, stones and paper. The original picture was from taken copcar.com Here it is http://public.fotki.com/carsntrucks4you/mo...-1/9112001.html http://copcardotcom.fotki.com/miscellaneou...h/winkler8.html http://copcardotcom.fotki.com/miscellaneou...h/winkler6.html Michael Bruehl; Germany Edited October 6, 2007 by carsntrucks4you

SpreadAxle
Nice. It brings back childhood memories 4 me. I grew up in NYC and I remember going up to the Observation deck in the towers a few times and looking out over the city.
Barbo
Hi....FlatbedKW...I did the same thing many times , I was born in New York , then moved to Puerto Rico when I was 14 years old , going back to New york for vacations every two years with my parents , made me feel as if I never left New York...do you remember how it felt to be at the Observation deck , they would move with the wind. I can close my eyes , think about it , and still feel the movements.........Above and Beyond..........Barbo.
