Now I see why the instructions say to put the serpentine belt on once the body was in place.

Sanded down the tires to make it look like have been used. Going to get some flat rubber to apply to the bottom quarter panel foe the look of it had done burn outs.

i like to use the dust from sanding tires for the rubber on the quarter panels look you mentioned. i dampen the area with a tiny amont of thinner and sprinkle the dust on and it seems to hold after drying. hope this helps:)

I think Roadkill has the same idea as me, (small, agile, dodging traffic) except I'll have room for supplies and spares.

Which engine is in that Stratos? I forgot what the options were.

the real ones have a Ferrari v6 the kit cars use a Alfa Romero v6 I also believe there was a four cylinder also

The Torino gets a facelift fore and aft. At the rear I've lopped off a scale 6-inches and added a piece from my inherited parts box so I couldn't tell you what it's from.

In the front I'm using the custom grill and lower chin from the 64 Chevelle wagon. Just had to slightly trim the sides to fit.

The lower piece dropped in unchanged. Still need to re-nose the hood to fit the grill better. Giving it a fender treatment now so I'll have photos when it's ready to present.

I like it !

I know what you mean - I got the Accurate Miniatures version of the 'Vette about 6 years ago and still haven't the courage to start it!

Wow! 6 yrs huh? I know what u mean. I've been sitting on the grand sport for about a year plus. I figured a Cannonball Run would be perfect so I'm going for it.
