  1. What were the engine colors on the GMC caovers in the 70's??
  2. Progress on the Tamiya offering. This a sweet little kit!!!
  3. Thanks Nick. Never thought to check comp resins...... Yeah, I'm looking for specific wheels without buying kits.
  4. Looking for a good source for gasser wheels. Steelie rears and magnesium fronts. Thanks,
  5. Thanks for the encouragement everybody!! Well me and the misses have sold our condo and are moving in a week. So, instead of polishing, I went another route I've never tried. Future. Trying to build and pack is proving to be hard. So It'll probably be awhile before the next post. Hopefully from my new workbench!!!!!! Hurray!!!! Progress tonight:
  6. Also, shot the clear. Waiting for the cure then the fun starts......
  7. Thanks everybody for the kind words and advice. Yes, I do think the white/green would be best. Progress. Everything was painted yesterday and started building today. Nothing spectacular really..... Thanks for checking it out!!
  8. You're right!! And it's right there on the box!!!LoL!!!! To much paint fumes........

  11. I've never done a "workbench" post, so here it goes. After building 2 Italeri and 1 Tamiya, I've decided to change it up and go domestic. This will be my first rubbed out paint job, so, if I mess up, you'll be right there with me. ? I will be going traditional on this one, just a little lower than originally out of the box.
  12. #2 in my collection of cars I'll never own. This was your typical run-of-the-mill, fantastic fitting Tamiya kit. Highly recommend. Thanks for looking
