Chas SCR
working on this and seeing to get the start of the look for the vavle covers.
Chas SCR
"Brute Force" getting the front end to set low enough will be the hard part. First took out the inner fenders as you see and will have to relocate them up higher and wider for the front wheels!. Also you can see the ride is now level with the tire size as the rear will be a little higher then the front.

Chas SCR
Wish I could done this more in brass but was not sure how it would have looked being epoxy in place then having the .020 sheet plastic insted. This was a lot easy'er and more smoother when I got done with it. did the floor pans to fit the exhaust tubes and mufflers in place.
Custom Hearse
Well... I was gonna point out that them thar wiper blades, arn't correct, they belong on a 1893 Whatchamahjig, but then I saws you took them offa there! Just kidding you!!! This is turning out really cool! I like the added custom vents, they give the car a uniqueness!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Chas SCR
Had to take that section out so I can remake it all with new vents.

Chas SCR
Here is some little work that has to be done before any thing else on the chassis. The upper frame has a part taken out and then drilled for the shock mount and put back in. The other parts are showing stuff you will not see but has to be done to hold the 4 link arms in place to the frame. Inside the car the interior will cover all this up. Chas SCR
Did more work on the frame, Put in the brass part to support the lower 4link control arm. Move the rear part of the tunnel down so every thing will clear and put in rear control arm connecter on the frame. Also started doing the rear end so that can go into resin. Chas SCR
Could not sleep so I work some more on the rearend. Now that I have the 5 angle section done all I need to do is the detail to the front then I can resin cast it

Chas SCR
Thank you Russ for the kind words and looking. I may not have change over to doing it all in brass like Bill or Mark has but I'm trying to get it right in plastic before making that change. Work on the front of the rear end. The only pic I have to go off from was this one to do the detail work. Also when doing some thing like this you have to remember how much can they really see in the detail. The holes are drilled out for the bolts and the new tubs are also put on and the center of the yoke has been move down .100 from center so it will be as close to the same style rear end cover. rustybill1960
I would think that the brass is a little more "forgiving" then the plastic. Which would make this a much more "presice" build, for the material. Regaurdless, I am very much in awe of your talents as such. Thank You again for sharing I am in for the ride! Chas SCR
Had to put it in primer to complete the holes around the center section also. They are driled out with a #76 drill.
Chas SCR
Making the 4link connecters on the fitted rear end. This is right side is all done now! Just have to do the left side and put on a couple other parts for the sway bar and such to fit into.

Chas SCR
Thank you for the kind words~ Was able to get the rearend done and fitted in, also had to redo the frame rails and shock connecters to blend them in better and also you can see where the swaybar tabs are located on the rear end. Chas SCR
Rebuiding the front part of the chassis, had to narrow up the crossmember and put in the front section to hold the steering rack in and also this is where the front sway bar runs through. This will be a full working front end when it's done.
