Eshaver
Lots of folks wonder if this building was part of my imagination . Naw, it was sent to me piecemeal on one of the service station forums I participate in . I was already tired of doing service stations and I wanted a challenge . For two years , I spent time doing research on this building . I had good weather to do the actual building last summer when the heatpump/ air conditioner blew out . For a couple of months and two plumbing companies , we pretty much camped out on the back porch . Me , I was busy slapping Fiberglass over a Foam Core skeleton . Being as I post over at the H A M B , I was asked to submit pictures of the model of the "Former " Fish Inn. See , the real one burned down in a grease fire . http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=428585&page=3370 I'll put some of the construction shots down in dioramas . pa3de8
Love the photo with the snow and the trolleys. Big railroad fan here too. If I had a big house or garage with a loft I'd have a layout running in HO scale and a corner section for building models! Ahhhh, my dream home.
