'69 Nova SS

I wanted to do this in a '70s street machine style, with a close to factory color like the mint green Chevy had. I used Dupli-Color Hampstead Green Metallic for the paint, Cragars and tires from the Revell '37 Ford kit, engine wiring and hoses, solder exhaust from the muffler back, with aluminum tube tips, '60s style tach on the column, and R&M Co of Md resin valve stems. Thanks for looking!

I had that exact car, same color and everything...except it had rallyes insteat of mags...and a six...and an automatic. Come to think of it, it wasn't an SS, had a flat hood and was a good bit larger. It also went hrough fuel filters like nobody's business.

You know, I suppose this means I like yours a darn sight better than mine. Great job!

Based on the license plate, I expect to see a real "dog-faced" driver riding this one around town!! :o

Maybe with the tunnel-ram Chumley's bite IS worse than his bark?!?

Super sano buildup, Randy - the color choice and execution is gorgeous!!! :D;);)
