Jantrix
Greetings. This is AMT's 67 Chevelle I'd done around 1998 on the kitchen counter. The original color was Boyd's Teal Green, which came out bad. The rest of the car was rather well done if I do say so, so I decided a new paint job was in order. The new colors are Duplicolor Cherry Red Metallic and Bright White. The decals are from the Revell California Wheels 67 Chevelle. This was also my first shot at wet sanding the final paint for polishing and waxing. That is a nerve wracking job. The paint came out so well I was terrified I'd burn through so I was real careful. The gloss is not eye searing but it has a nice shine that looks in scale. Here's some before and afters. Thanks for looking.

Jantrix
Thanks guys. It was nice to see this sows ear turn into a silk purse, after years of frowning at it on my shelf.
george 53
WoW! Rob, the new color REALLY brought that lil Rascal to life! Those colors sure dood it for me! I Love it! It looks real nice in the brighter color, not that it was bad in blue, but the Red and White 2 tone just do it for me!

Jantrix
Ed, I assure you that photo does not nearly display the level of awfulness that the teal paint job was.
