Collection of Monogram 1/24 Muscle Cars

I was going through some old photos lately and came across this collection of 1/24 muscle cars by Monogram that I built about 12 years ago. As I recall, the kits weren't super detailed, but built up to be very nice replicas in their own right. Its weird that this 'odd' scale was used so often by Monogram back then, when 1/25 had pretty much dominated the market. But I digress...

Anyway, here goes. I only had 1 image of each of them...

Some nice builds...as far as the scale, remember these kits date back to the '80s---before Revell bought Monogram, and 1/24th was Monogram's standard scale. I built these back in the day as a kid and they still build up nicely today IMO after so many reissues.

I always liked the Monogram 1/24's. I think I built them all in the 80's, in my early teens. Not super detailed, but they went together well and the body dimensions were realistic. Do careful paint work and build cleanly and they look great.

I have some of these and really like the scale as they fit in perfectly with my FM & DM diecast collection. Extremely nice builds by the way. I built the Monogram '70 GSX to go with my GM '70 muscle car collection in diecast as no one has done it in yet. B)
