  1. Just finished this this afternoon, got a few others working but this one came together first. Dinner Bell Olds by Monogram and decals by Blue Ridge. Painted with Rustoleum Gray and Testors Gloss White and French Blue Rattle cans. Built box stock.
  2. Here are some more photos
  3. Thanks everyone. I normally build NASCAR but every now and then I do a car. The color is a mix of Testors Kiln red and Burgundy Metallic. I have the model in a case so I will shoot some more photos and get them up.

I had a friend give me this kit only if I agreed to build, so I did. Here is the finished model.
  5. I took a different angle on that kit, I like your idea better. I'll be watching for the finished model.
  6. Very Nice!!!! I love to see cars that not a lot people would do and you hit this one out of the park!
  7. I cant get enough of these 2 forums, I am building more then ever since I have joined!
  8. Believe it or not I found that color at Home Depot. It is Rustoleum Navy Blue shot out of the can over Tamiya White Primer. I usually air brush all my models but lately have been experimenting with spray cans. My wife doesn't like the sound of the compressor so the spray cans let me get some work done with out scheduling around her. If you trim the decals close the fade will show through the hood. The fade was done with the air brush as well as the top of the rear bumper red (testors guards red). the hood was testors grabber blue.
  9. Finished this last night, Box Stock with the kit decals.
  10. Thanks guys, I was inspired to do this one because of all of Old Coyotes beautiful work on all his Labonte Builds!
  11. A Box Stock build with kit decals, I loved the decals but the body fit to the chassis is dissapointing.
  12. A Box Stock Build with Slixx decals.
  13. I think when I did this it was the only new body style kit available. I like the old AMT Thunderbird and Oldsmobile bodies. They can be a resepectable stock car, just not enough after market decals available.
