  1. Here is an update on the new Coronet parts for use with the original 68 body. The front and rear bumpers fit nicely. Just need to grind off the locating pins on the back sides. The front grill will fit by grinding down the headlight bulges on the backside of the grill. The tailight lenses will fit, just need to hollow out the bezel holes a small amount. The back glass actually fits better on the original Coronet body than it does on the new Coronet body. So far, looks like good news for builders that need parts for the old original first release 68 Coronet.
  2. Got my 68 hardtop kits today. I tried fitting the chassis and interior tub from the new kit into an original MPC 68 Coronet body and it fits pretty good. Someone here mentioned that the front windshield does not fit in the original body. I tried fitting the windshield and it does fit . However the vent windows don't meet with the vent window frames. There is a about 1/16th inch space between the new windshield vent windows and the old body vent window frame. Looks like two options that can work; heat up the vent windows on the new part and bend them out a little or cut the vent windows from the new glass and glue them onto the vent window frames on the old body. Not a big problem, I think it's a pretty minor. I'll give more updates on other new parts that can be used on the old bodies.
  3. Does anyone have a front bench seat they don't need from the AMT Supernatural 67 Impala kit? I'm looking for one. Thanks George Petrillo
  4. How many days shipping did it take for you to get your Demon kit from Model Roundup? Was it regular USPS or UPS that delivered? Thanks.
  5. A Dick Landy Coronet kit would make a lot of sense and would be justified. Just need a set of Cragar wheels and the Landy decal sheet and you have another kit. Everything else is already in the kit has been released.
  6. Does anyone do the 68 Coronet Dick Landy decals? Thanks. George Petrillo
  7. I was on his Thursday night live kit review last Thursday and he talked about the upcoming Blazer kit. He stated that he saw pictures of it. He mentioned that we are going to be very happy when we see the preview shots of it.
  8. Recently I read that the Supernatural 67 Impala 4 door discontinued. Not enough sales? Will this be reissued again in the future?
  9. Is the rear cavity part of the tool where the body would be? Maybe someone from Round 2 reading this can answer this question?
  10. I read on one of the Coronet topics that the 68 Coronet Feverbee will be next. Could be a 4th quarter 2024 release or 1st quarter in 2025. I wouldn't be surprised to see the MPC 69 Coronet coming out after the series of 68's finish. My predictions for the 69 could be mid 2025 or late 2025. Maybe Steve G can give more insight into the 69's.
  11. Just saw it on ebay too. Looks like the Coronet kits have already reached the U.S. I noticed that the kit on E-bay had no shrink wrapping on.
  12. My thanks as well. A big thanks to Round 2 on bringing out the F-85 Streaker AWB car. I wonder what other big announcements are coming in the future?
  13. Getting back to the original topic of the 71/72 Roadrunner. Maybe there will be an announcement of that kit at the show that Steve G of Round 2 will be attending tomorrow?
