Fletch
Finally, got the flier for the 19th Annual Pacific North West NNL Model Car Fest. The theme for the 2009 NNL is Cars of the '60s. If you need additional information it can be found on the SABA NW website. http://www.sabanw.org/pacific_nw_nnl_model_car_fest The Theme for the 20th PNW NNL Nodel Car Fest will be "Yeah, it's got a Hemi!" Fletch
The Pacific NW NNL Model Car Fest is just 4 weeks away, on Saturday April 18th. Awards for People's Choice Junior and Senior. Theme Junior and Senior. The Charlie James Memorial Award given to the Best Classic. The Bob Paeth Memorial Award given to the Best/Most outrageous Custom. And the SABA Pick, better know as we just thought it was way to cool to not give an award to. A make and take for the youngsters. Clinics scheduled so far, Ron Martinolich covering the many kinds of paint/fingernail polish and their applications. Yours truly demonstrating the technique "how to chop and reassembly a '40 Ford coupe in less then 60 minutes without breaking a sweat". Still in the works a metal working clinic handled by one of our winning builders from the Bob Paeth Portland Classic. She was a jeweler for many years before retiring (we figured we'd better learn her secrets as she kicks our butts with her metal work). If you plan to be in the Portland area April 18th stop by and say Hi.
