MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Treating myself to a Marlboro Red a few times a day certainly pacifies my nerves
  2. I saw that , but its ambiguous title lead me away (haha). Thanks again.
  3. That is good to know, thank you. I just have an aversion to making 'business' calls (haha). But, I'll enquire to him sooner rather 'an later.
  4. Other 'an a phone number ( OMG, that is sooooooo 20th Century ! ) there's no other contact info - and their FAQ 'page' is empty (?!?). IIRC, their lacquers are ready-to-shoot, but not their enamels.
  5. I bought their enamel reducer , directly from MCW's site. Silly question : Do I need to purchase their hardener as well ? Or will the reducer 'cover' the catalysation as well ? Thanks again .
  6. Gary Usher (1938-1990) was also an excellent record producer.
  7. Ends in tales of cannibalism and other coffeeshop counter bollocks
  8. I'd love to see both long bed and short bed Wideside as well as Fenderside iterations , in 2WD . From there, the resin artists could offer C/K 20 and 30 conversions .
  9. I happened into Pegasus hobby store this past Saturday , and I picked up a bottle of MCW's Curious Yellow enamel ( 5.00 $ ! Quite reasonable ). Now, I have one of those Prevail sprayers which I'm going to employ ( I don't have the facilities to use an airbrush - noisy compressors and such in an apartment setting = no go ). My question is, Which reducer / thinner ( or both, if necessary ) is best for these enamels ? I had my eyes set on Mr. Color Leveling Thinner -- is that a good product for this instance ? I love Mr. Hobby and Tamiya, as both are just the best I've used over the years. Any input and recommendations (and ad hominem attacks ) is are am welcomed.
  10. Night Stalker claimed two victims near my home in Whittier, California
  11. Things which are Pretty work midnight to six , man
  12. "Twirking" was what I used to call the A-heads "working" on a vehicle, yet never getting the job done
  13. My 2004 doesn't have the hour meter (I've forgotten its proper nomenclature), as its instruments are 100% analogue (including the odometer). For all that I know, it could have 100,000 idle hours ! Original engine (has a sticker on the left-bank of the block which reads POL 47) and uses zero oil.
  14. That 1/18 looks pretty nice ! I recognise wheel covers - is it a 1998-2001 model (amber turn signals as well) ? Speaking of which ; I'm going to convert mine to the amber-signals tail lamp assemblies. Why ? I can't stand red turn signal/hazards ! They're not only annoying, but are also technically improper / incorrect.
  15. Better, I'll probably feel a whole lot, when you're gone
