chunkypeanutbutter
Those look like pins. Am I right?
cruz
Thanks guys. They are not metal pins, got them at Michael's. They are actually flexible plastic and covered in chrome with a ball at the end instead of being flat headed.....
Len Woodruff
Very nice Cruz. Luv the Alclad tanks.
cruz
Got some primer and color on this thing. Once the paint is dry, I will expose the emblems and bare metal foiled letters just as I did at the primer stage. I will finish with a few coats of clear! cruz
Purchased a really cool decal sheet at the club meeting last Saturday. This sheet contains some really nice logos and useful info for any kind of truck.

cruz
Apparently, some people have either their eyesight discombobulated or they just don't know much about scale. Got these cool looking metal pipes through ebay for the flatbed and they turned out to be too big.... And yes, the seller has them as 1/24 scale pipes but I don't even think they will work on a 1/16 scale model.....
Petetrucker07
It might just be because its a smaller cab. 8 inch stacks are big. Ive bought a bunch of the 8 inch and the a few of the 10 inch. The 8s look spot on, on my 359s and my cabover.
Jim B
Those are the big, goofy-looking, custom stacks that are popular on Large-Car custom trucks. I agree with you, they would be out of place on a Ford LN8000 work truck. Stick with either the 5" stack or the grass-burner exhaust. Trucker Al
I love those stacks! cant wait to see the finished product!
Mackvision
I'm with Jim on the smaller stacks,or "weedburner" exaust, pretty un-usual to see a 1:1 Ford with stacks anyway...........................................Mark
kilrathy10
Still, though....This one is coming along nicely.....
cruz
Nothing in the picture is glued yet, still doing some mockups here and there but I am liking the color on the cab and the way it all looks together!
