  1. Check Texas 3D, if he makes one(resin printed) I'll always choose his first!
  2. I've been buying and selling on eBay since I think 2007. I've experienced odd shipping snafus all along the way. The most recent issue for me is when a package is picked up, however they scan it, it confirms the pickup, but also shows...item delivered. The first time that happened several weeks ago, no tracking was visible until it arrived at it's destination. I've also seen those long mysterious journeys. I sent an item to somewhere in Kentucky, watched the tracking to the point of....out for delivery, and then watched it return to my local post office, only to be resent back to it's intended destination. Agreed, not sure sometimes what is going on.
  3. Thanks! Originally I tried Tamiya " rubber black", but it is more for racing tires. The current color is Dupli-Color flat black. Oddly, the gold is from MCW and is a '75 Ford color, which in the bottle looks kinda unattractive. I pulled up a pic online, and now I like it!
  4. I've gone over the last few posts unless I missed something, I believe the comment of getting your money back was in response to the mangled Corvette kit, not the sand rail. Heck, I thought about one myself. Nice purchase!
  5. You don't mention if it looked like that before placing in the dehydrator or just after. I personally don't see a need for putting any paint in a dehydrator, they are not designed that way. Temperature, time, moisture control yes, but depending on paint manufacturers specs. I'm sure plenty of people use them, with little to no issues, but I'm not willing to risk the time, effort, money on a rushed dry time. Again...just My opinion. Sometimes you do get bad cans, the last couple I've gotten seep out the orifice after spraying and clearing the nozzle. Hope second try goes well!!
  6. You are calling it...Bombay White, but the chart states Bombay Ivory, which in turn is definitely an Ivory. The truck pictured looks white to me, but if you want the Ivory, the Tamiya....looks close...but unknown until sprayed. Primer choice will effect the final color as well. Do some testing, it's always a reference for later use if not exactly what you want.
  7. Small update, widened the front chassis a bit. Fitting for cross member and motor mounts. Painted the tires and center section of the wheels. Need to order some SMS Hyper chrome to finish them off.
  8. I'd try model airplane parts. I ended up with this pair somehow, but I have seen different size/scales. Use as is or mill the rim to suit you.
  9. Picked up the kits last Saturday, the paint today. Dodge shorty van, Rambler pick up, and a Karman Ghia.
  10. A few pieces from Buckeye Classic in Hilliard, Ohio....
  11. This came today, great price, been wanting one for some time.
  12. If it is, here are two examples of a Spyder that are similar...
  13. It's under the title... Buckeye Scale Auto... awhile back. Thanks for including the hotel info.
  14. Yep...those are what I screenshot awhile back for the technique. Thanks!
