  1. Built this '70 Cuda for an acquaintance of mine about a year ago. I used the Revell '70 Cuda and added the rear deck spoiler and rear window louvers from the Monogram '71 Cuda kit. Both parts had to be slightly modified to fit right. Aftermarket 383 "hockey stick" fender stripes and BFG tire decals were added. A few photo etched pieces are in there too. Paint was Model Masters Hemi orange. Thanks for looking.
  2. Yes, this car competed in the World Rally Championships. It was driven by Gilles Panizzi and finished in second place in the 1999 San Remo Rally.
  3. Just finished up on the Tamiya Peugeot 206. This was my first Tamiya build in many years. Fun kit to build with very few problems. I did add the Studio 27 photo etched set. Thanks for looking.
  4. If you use a lot of braided line with the appropriate size -an fittings and hate losing them, (at over a buck a piece, that ain't cheap!), you can kill two birds with one stone by storing them on the braided line itself. Once there on the braid, you won't loose them and they are ready to go when you need them. Just remember to alternate them when you put them on the braid. Hope this tip helps.
  5. I haven't finished anything in quite some time, but I finally got this one off of the work bench. It was the old AMT kit of "The Champ" Mustang II funny car. I used the Slixx decals to build the Blue Max Mustang. I tried to use as much of the original kit as possible (even those nasty two piece rear slicks!) I did have to scratch build the interior tin because the original parts came nowhere near fitting right. Some after market detail stuff was thrown in along with a scratch built body stand for display. Paint was Testors custom lacquer one coat Star-Spangled blue. Enjoy the picks and thanks for looking.
