MrObsessive
Like Harry, I'm mostly a builder------but when a nice diecast catches my eye, sometimes I can't resist! Here's a 1/24 Shelby GT-350 from Danbury Mint via GMP. VERY nice casting and details, but there are a couple nits I have with it. The door shut lines particularly on the driver's side could stand to be a bit tighter, and also the fuel lines underneath I don't think are quite placed right for this era Mustang. But nevertheless, a very sharp piece that's sitting nice and pretty in my display case. Yeah I could've built this one-----but this will suffice for now! Those wheels BTW, are the best representation of the '67-'68 ten spokes out there I've seen! GMP sells these separately (last I knew) and they're definitely worth the money! RodneyBad
Hard to tell if that Stang is 1/24. Good looking Car.. Well I finally got my FlatBed. I was hoping to get it first but Lownslow beat me to the punch. Good looking Flatbed. Tool boxes open. Doors and hood open. Bed slides back and tilts. Wheel lift lowers and raises Cab looks a wee bit undersized tho.. I ordered mine through http://www.caseysdiecastcars.com/ It's new and not listed but I've Em the guy and have had fast returns.. I bought a few Mopar Diecast through them too. Spike is working on One Right now.. Edited February 21, 2009 by Zukiholic

Jon Cole
Let's see if I can at least get this post in line with the rest. Tho I didn't take the pic of the '39 Lincoln "Sunshine Special", it's a beautiful die-cast of FDR's Limousine. I have all 9 Presidential Limos currently available from Yat Ming. The following is my photo of the re-bodied '61 Lincoln X-100 refurbished for LBJ after the Kennedy Assassination. This car was originall painted the same dark blue metallic that Kennedy's car was, but Johnson wouldn't accept it, so it was again repainted black. -Jon-
Jon Cole
I guess I'm a sucker for the Ford GT or GT40 in any shape or form. This one is a 2006 GT-R by One Badd Ride. -Jon-
Jon Cole
Got to dig those big finned Caddys! And this one... well, if I had a dozen built Monogram '59 Caddys in my display case (but I don't), I would have still bought this one! -Jon-

FujimiLover
I've only got a small collection of 1/43 scale die-cast models. My dream would be if AutoArt would make 1/18 scale die-cast models of the KS cars in high-detail. I'd be in seventh heaven if I had found a 1/18th full-detail Koenig Competition in brilliant Italian Red! MMMmmmmmm, yummy! So, sorry, all I've got are 1/43's and a couple of Hot-Rod's in 1/64 scale size. So I guess my most interesting would be my 1/43 Smart Four-Two car. Tiny! Another killer 1/18 die-cast model would be my Dad's AEROCAR from the 1950's! Would be sweet if Franklin Mint or Danberry or somebody like that would make one. RodneyBad
Love the StepVan Dave. Lownslow I take it that you Repainted the Monte Carlo or polished it? Looks good. Hey FujimiLover I'd count your Koysho Mini-Zs. I've had no luck finding any good ones on Ebay that are in the US. I'd like to see yours. I'll even dig out mine. One day A little something for the Portland Oregon folks. Jada Dodge Charger with some Decals I found on Ebay. Awesome decals.. He accidently sent me a larger set of decals but turned around and set 1/24 and let me keep the others. So I mixed them to see which set look better on the Jada Dodge. The Jada Dodge is a little bigger than 1/24 I have No Idea how to paint the light bar yet. 1/24 scale stripe and 1/18 scale Roof # and letters & Rose 1/24 letters& Rose and 1/18 stripe I think the 1/24 decals looks right. I only have enough to do 19 more 1/24 and 11 1/18 scale Cars I have enough Decals to play with Edited July 21, 2009 by Zukiholic
