CB
Very cool Jairus .......but I think "YEAH" would work a little better if it was in color, or a gray? Looks like maybe a 'just one color' Tshirt? Like I said, it's cool, and works, but at least one other color sure would add to it. No way I'll make that show, but any chance on getting a large via snail mail, etc?

Jairus
John, well.... I had not considered selling shirts on-line. It is not my project, I am just the talent. However, I will pass on the idea to the powers that be and I am honored you want one. You are not the only one to request a shirt and not attend. Hmmmm, maybe I should have the printer do a run just for me?!?!?! I like it! Actually, I have received a few corrections from my artistic peers and the design will change slightly. Nothing big, just small stuff that will improve the look and illustion of speed mostly. Will post a new updated design tomorrow as I am beat tonight and need to sit in front of the tube and veg till bed. Thank you! J
Jairus
New updated image is now posted. I sent the art to a good friend Nelson Dewey. Nelson is one of the artists who worked for the now defunct CARtoons magazine starting in the mid 60's. For a number of years he worked for Hollywood doing "Storyboard" illustrations for movie writers and directors. Now retired and living in Phoenix Az, I sent him the art and he made a few suggestions that I believe only contribute to making this way better and beyond my meager talents. At any rate, I will have printed a dozen extra shirts for those persons who will not be attending but still want a shirt. Just PM me with your size request. Not sure of the price just yet.... CB
Ol' Dewey done ya good Jairus! I saved both pics into My Pictures to eyeball the differences. Going back & forth between the two, it does a nice little wheelie Amazing what an eraser can do sometimes.
Jairus
I made the decision to go two colors. I think this makes the shirts more saleable than printing black on white so... here is the new design. SABA members... please give me your opinion because Dave Beach is... well, you know! Jairus
Okay, to those who wanted a shirt, I will be placing an order today with the printer. The design is approved as above and I am probably going to have only 10 shirts to sell via mail for those who cannot attend. If someone wants one and has not yet spoken up, do so TODAY via PM please! I am only doing 5 Large and 5 XL. However, if there are any extras left over from the show... those will be available too. AFTER THE SHOW of course but you will need to contact one of the other SABA members. Total through me $12 per which includes shipping to anywhere in the US via Parcel Post. (Got your order CB!) Hope this doesn't break any rules Gregg... if it has, I am very sorry. Edited March 25, 2010 by Jairus
Jairus
Pacific Northwest Model Car Fest is this Saturday! Doors open at 9am for the public and entrants.... 7am for the vendors. From what I understand the entry fee and shirt are $15 at the door. Entry fee without shirt is $5... but don't quote me on that. See those of you from the PacificNW on Saturday. I have a couple shirts left if someone still wants before the show... two XL and two L. $12.00 ea. Had to raise the price a bit to cover shipping. Turns out to be more expensive to send via the U.S. postal service than I had originally thought! Go figure....
crazyjim
I got mine and looks great! Sorry, I won't be at the show, but good luck.

Jairus
The show is over. We sold out on all the L and XL shirts. There are a few XXL and five XXXL shirts left over from the show. All remaining shirts will be sold through the SABA web site once they get it up. Also... SABA will be reprinting more L and a few M sizes at a later date. BTY, I still have a couple XL shirts here... I am tired and my feet hurt.
