Brad aka Gasser59 thanks for inspiring me dude.

Didn't take many bare styrene pixs

with my Nikon Coolpix camera.

:( thought I could post them with the phone.

Anyhoo...

Here are some I was able to post.

The dropped axle is '40 Ford.

Rear fenders are also '40 Fords that got widened

to avoid making tubs on the trailer.

Door handles are Forty Ford too.

None of the panels open...I know..I know..

DSCN4062-vi.jpg

Holes are drilled for tail lights and hatch handle.

RSCN4056-vi.jpg

Camp trailer stabilizers added ...that busy thingamabob is a Warhammer piece.

AMT louvers on door and rain gutter added over the door.

Wheel caps are Merc and white jelly pen pinners.

RSCN4057-vi.jpg

Front of roof is unglued (rubber bands) because I still need excess to glue the

port hole windows. Storage box ,dolly , chains and a tongue that took me 3 tries

to get somewhat respectable make up the front.

'73 Chevy pickup gave up the sun roof.

Thanks for looking.

Work in Progress.

That is slick!

Very cool...! I wish the model companies would offer kits of camping trailers...from the 60s-70s era those would be cool too.

If you don't mind resin, Modelhaus has a very nice teardrop, as does Jimmy Flintsone, plus Modelhaus also has an excellent '50s-'60s Shasta Airlfite camper.

I have a special soft spot for those tear drops.I did the master for Don's original teardrop several years ago.He did a super job upgrading it for the current version.I traced around an AMT '36 Ford rear fender for the basic shape of it,expanded it on a copy machine until it was large enough to be in 1/25th scale. The sides were cut from an AMT 1/43rd scale semi trailer to get the ribbed effect. The windows were cut from a 1/25 AMT semi tractor kit's sleeper.

Your is very cool.I particularly like the ribbed roof. There are a lot versions of these in the 1:1 world so there is a lot of inspiration available on the internet including Pintrest. Thanks for sharing this excellent project with us.
