hey guys this is my latest obsession a 1935 Morgan three wheeler(<iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s248.photobucket.com/user/HELL_ON_WHEELS_1/embed/slideshow/1935%20Morgan%20tree%20wheeler"></iframe>). I'm building is as a Morgan that has be re-worked and customized for racing (going for the look of a build done back in the late thirties in someones garage or shop). I sectioned the body to look like separate panels riveted together.
I had to scribe the panel lines then drill out holes for the rivets. I then made the rivets from tiny brass rod using a file to round one end then cut it to the right length (this is a looooooong process). I used many different paints, washes and weathering to detail the motor. I scratch built the spark plugs from tiny plastic rod and a file (this was not fun but the end product made it worth it all)
added the oil lines from the motor to the oil cooler, brass push rods with aluminum caps to the rocker boxes and fabricated working front suspension, scratch built cycle fenders that will turn with the wheels, wired the ignition, made fittings and plumbed the brakes, cut down the stock windscreen for a sleeker racing look, going to do the whole body in alclad paints and use washes and weathering to pick out the details, chopped down the stock exhaust and filled in all the holes in the body and scratch built short race headers and more to come....
