numbersman
I built this from a kit I purchased over 30 years ago. I put in a resin Detroit 8V92TA painted actual DD green. The engine is about as old as the truck. Here are some more pictures of the truck. I added some aftermarket aluminum items I had some problems with the hood on this model. I think it was because I made some modifications to the radiator. What do you fellow model builders think? Is there anything I should change or modify? BigBad
I wouldn't change a thing! Even if it has a Kenworth paint scheme! LOL! Very nice truck, I like your Detroit Diesel!

I got the Detroit engine from Spaulding Trading and Shipping. I think they imported it from Australia. I haven't seen one for sale in years. trick my mixer
I think it looks great..... If iwas going to change one thing it would be to lengthen the frame for a longer wheel base look. Always felt that all the 1/16th trucks had to short of a frame. then with the double sleeper it looks even shorter. Still a great job!!!!!!
