1959 Ford Custom 300 big block

This is a Tom Coolidge / Promolite resin curbside converted to full detail using the AMT '58 Edsel. The motor represents a rare Lincoln 430 option and would have made this lightwieght car a potent performer. The resin carves easily and the casting was nice so the engineering itself presented the challenge here. Both cars have the same wheelbase so the kit chassis works well. My dremel thinned panels for a better appearance. Paint is Tamiya rattle can

Incredible! One of the coolest builds I've seen of a '50's Ford. GREAT job on the engine and chassis. Will you be at the Milwaukee NNL?[/quote Sorry the Wisconsin plate fooled me. I doubt you would be travelling from Florida!

I'd LOVE to be at Milwaukee ! But your right, it's not going to happen. I've often wondered how the hell I'd fly with several models in tow. Thanks to all for the positive comments.......... JD
