truckabilly
Can somebody estimate the wheel base of this 1967 Peterbilt 351 STL? The hood is extended, BBC 127, that´s all I know. My eye is not experienced enough for telling these figures. I would also like to know the length of the trailer. Can somebody help me on that, please? Thanks in advance
GLMFAA1
Take a pair of calipers (dividers) and set them at the diameter of the rim being roughly 18 inches, mark off the frame with the 18 inches and you should get a ball park figure, It wont be accurate but close because of photographic (magic) you cant really get an accurate measurement. Interesting subject, I always thought the shuttle recover vehicle would be an interesting build greg
Kostas Parchas
I am not sure but I can estimate that the trailer is about 30ft long. Its too long to be 20ft and too short to be 40ft. About the wheelbase of Nasa's Peterbilt there is only one that can anwser your question and that is Tim Ahlborn. This would make a great model. Kostas.
