Looking good.

The panel line method you use is something model aircraft builders have been doing for a very long time and you're right; it does add realism.

It's very effective.

Do you think a little trimming of the inside of the fenders with a Dremel would give you the clearance you want?

Keep it up, always liked the Novas and I have that same kit not yet started.

That's really neat i didn't know they use that method. I've always wanted to do a ship. But this is the first time I've tried it and it looks likes it's been effective to me as well.

Uhm it could work I just mounted the wheels today and finished up some chassis paint (pics tomorrow guys). So I will c how they fit now, if they still rub I'll show a pic so u can know what it looks like for your future kit.

I'm not too worried about it barely touches.

Cheers,

Thanks

Here's the chassis I missed a part painting the front right wheel well. I'll have to touch it up.

Here's a mock up and chassis with it's permanent completely wheels all finished.

Tamiya semi gloss black was used for wheels and wheel wells.

There's also two pics to show you guys the back wheels, they tuck in nicely but slightly touch the wheel well at least one of them does. But for all honestly they seem to fit better after all mounted I don't really care about the issue anymore

That's a ice stance.. Also with those rims really sets the car off. I take you'll be wrapping this one up soon?

Thank you much. Yea I'm gonna polish and wax the body wants more since the paint is hardened. Then apply everything to the body.

And finish up the engine and interior. This kit was going to be my first with ignition wires but it didn't work out to well, due to not having a pin vise. Luckily the engine still looks good tho.

Headers were installed as well as connected to the exhaust.

The grill and back bumper is finished. The turn signals are brighter then they appear in the picture

Although the right one (your left) the silver enamel backing got screwed from the glue.

So I may lightly apply some over the top.

Also there is no black paint on the edges of the bumper it's just a reflection. Just waiting to put the decals on them.

Re polished the body with novus 2 after the body had more than 4 days to cure. Then I waxed it with The Treatment Final Detail wax.

BMF has also been started in the front as you can see and I tried to show the reflection in the photo booth with my finger  that is no shaddow. All I use is just standard alluminum tape for like heating ducts.

Windows are In!

BMF is all completed.

All body decals applied.

This is how I apply them.

1. Dip in water for a few seconds.

2. Brush on water on area for decal to be applied.

3. Position decal into place using a q tip and decal tweezers.

4. Lightly press decal in place with q tip getting excess water off.

5. Apply Mr. Mark softer and repeat step 4 but getting excess softer off

6. Apply Mr. Mark softer and don't touch till it's dry.

This allows silvering to be gone and the decal looks like it's been painted on.

For the windows I use white Elmer's glue. (The ones that dry clear) and position window in place. Then using tamiya masking tape to hold it in place while the glue dries.

I use this glue because if there is a mishap that gets on the window you can clean it with water.

Tamiya tape is great at stoping bleeds, but it doesn't tack to hard as well as to vehicle. Meaning when you remove it doesn't really have the power to lift the window up, or remove paint.

Here's some pics.

Coming along great. One suggestion, I would have painted the headliner stuff before windows and foil. Heck, sometimes I do it before body paint and just mask it off until the end

I could have, but I will be hand painting it. So no biggy, I can mask the window tabs and paint those black as well. Along with the foil parts.

Thanks for the tip/comment.

Cheers,
