  1. PM SENT YOUR WAY - Joe
  2. hey folks - got a few questions on the recent Revell chrome spray paint - I was able to purchase some (difficult to find and a bit on the expensive side) but for the cost it's less expensive than having parts plated - I don't know the German or French language so I'm at a bit of a loss to fully understand the pros and cons to the product - so here's my questions - can it be sprayed over bare plastic, or should a primer be used? if primer is the suggested base for the chrome paint - what color would work the best? should the parts (after applying the chrome paint) be clear coated? if they need to be clear coated - enamel or laquear paint? I only plan to use it on smaller parts like suspension, fuel tanks, bumpers, etc. thanks folks - Joe
  3. hi folks - and an error on my earlier post regarding taillights for a Ford Galaxie 500 - it's a 1966-year model and not a 1965-year model - any help would be great - I need both the right and left chrome frames and the red insert - again - thanks in advance - Joe
  4. hey Craig - the wheels also look close to those in the Little Red Wagon released kit with a dual coat applied - Joe
  5. Hey folks - looking for a set (right and left) taillights for a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 kit - need frames and clear red lens - thanks in advance - Joe
  6. hey folks - I'm in search for the above-mentioned model kit - manufacture - Moebius Models - 1965 Mercury Cyclone A/FX model kit number - 1223 scale - 1:25 released 2018 PM me should you have one and what you might need in trade - thanks in advance - Joe
  7. hey folks - I am really surprised that there has been as little reaction from members on the topic - so maybe I'll give my two cents in on the resent release of this kit - I'm going to use a scale of 0 to 10 for my thoughts - 0 being the kit was a flop - 5 being fair - 10 being good - I would have to give credit to Round2 to release this well wanted kit from most of us older builders - they get a 5 for no emblems/script/window wiper blades/no detail on the rear trunk panel they get a 3 chrome parts for the kit they get a 7 for the recreated box art they get another 7 now just understand - this is just my thoughts on the resent reissue of the "Time Machine" and there will be those that think it's a great kit and that's just fine and one additional note to the HPIGUY who did the review on this kit - you should turn the oil pan around - it's not a Ford comments are always welcomed - but remember, it's a hobby for most and not a job
  8. this is an AMT/ERTL 1996 Ford Explorer 4x4 - skill level 2 kit number - 8986 production date 1995 factory sealed- looking for any AWB parts - engines - front and rear suspensions - interior tubs - dash boards - frames PM me if interested - thanks - Joe
  9. Hey folks - as most of you know the 65 Chevelle AWB kit has hit the local hobby shops - A new tooling process has taken place from the original kit - Some of you will remember it as the "Time Machine" originally an AMT kit - For those who have been able to locate and purchase this kit, I have a question for you - What is your opinion on the kit? ---- Good, bad or otherwise - I've purchased several (had them on backorder) and would like to hear from you as what you think of the kit - Thanks for your time and interest in buying this new release - Joe
  10. very nice - how long did it take you to build this kit?
  11. just to give everyone who may have decal orders from Speedway Decals there will be a possible delay in getting your items - Tommy Logan (Roadhawg) has had a stroke - anyone who may have placed an order(s) it could be pushed back a bit until he recovers - Just wanted people to be aware of the current situation - thanks for your understanding -
  12. great job
