Nacho Z
This may be a little unusual. I completed this model several years ago but seeing that I am new here I thought I would share some of my builds, both in progress and finished. I personally like seeing the work done by others. Maybe some of the in progress pictures will help others. So here we go..... First up is the kit and the decals. I actually enjoy doing decals. For the most part I have had very good luck with decals. Doing a little work on the seat. I thought it would look better opened up. Sorry about some of the blurry pictures. Here are the kit wheels and tires. Nacho Z
I should have mentioned that this is a box stock build. Here is the completed seat and dash. Moving on to the main tub and interior. I think one of my least favorite things to do is masking. I had to do some here. Here is the drivetrain. And starting to put it all together. Nacho Z
Last post before I put up pics of the finished model in the "under glass" section. This post will show some of the body work. This was the first time I used Silly Putty for masking. It worked very well. Put it on the outside to keep the black on the inside. Fixing ejector pin marks. Time to start laying down some decals. o-man
Sweet! I've got the Revell "History Channel" one. I doubt it will look anywhere near as good as yours, but does give some inspiration, Thanks!!
