Clay
I've started this trailer to haul the 63 Avanti salt flat car from Raul. Its one of the clear display trailers, never really liked the clear part so I left it off. Its painted Italian Red from Model Masters Laquer. The front cabinet doors were giving me hell so I just glued them shut. The truck I am using, at least until I get some more Italian Red, is this Snaptite Chevy C-3500 Street Machine, it is painted GTX Blue. I need to find some front tires and a set of rims for it first. Oh and if anyone has any of these kits that are just collecting dust, send me a PM and I will offer a trade for it. Thanks for looking. Clay
OK I am calling the truck DONE Look at those MEATS!!!! Ok well its not really done, I need to attach the reciever and ball for the trailer on the truck. But anyway, I need some help on the wheels for the trailer. The ones that came with it? The stock Avanti wheeles? They have the things that go in the center. Or, the salt flat rims that came with the Avanti?

Kenny
OK I am calling the truck DONE Done? What about mirrors, trim, taillights? For the trailer the Bonneville discs or the Avanti rims would look cool.

Done? What about mirrors, trim, taillights? For the trailer the Bonneville discs or the Avanti rims would look cool. Kit didnt come with mirrors, I got it second hand. The tail lights are there I just need to detail them a little more and there is no trim on it. Yeah I kinda like the bonnoville discs myself. torinobradley
Where did you get the camper shell on the tow rig? I had made one out of wood with the intent of vacu-forming them but never built the vacu-form machine. So, I have a big block of wood in the shape of the camper shell. I believe I got the truck and trailor from Randy (randxo), but I am entirely not sure. Oh, BTW. A question about your workbench... Is it true that A1 makes everything taste better? Even plastic??? Believe it or not you are not the first person to ask that. It was on the table in a previous build and someone asked that.
