  1. not exactly, the vehicles based off of a heavy road truck, like the Petes have frames that are capable of withstanding well over 100,000 lbs, but, the tires, unless you wish to place more axles under the vehicle to spread the weight more evenly among the tires as many heavy haulers do, you may blow out a few of the tires.
  2. man, these are some killer models, I love the imagination being displayed. And Cranky, I really hope the surgery goes well on Momma Cranky, best wishes my friend.
  3. plz tell me where you got those rims, I have a set of the same tires that I intend to put on an F350 dually, but no rims to use for them, and I think those rims would be perfect, and by the way, really sweet work on the rig, I wouldn't wanna be in front of it without my rig
  4. You could try to use small gage sprew, and drilling them out, as well as drilling the support structure for the muzzles so as the barrels can easily fit threw, iether that, or you may need to get some small copper pipe, and I mean really small.
  5. it appears that the c channel is working well for you, looks great, can't wait to see this truck done.
  6. The Heartland Model Car Nationals will be on the 9th and 10th of June, I'll be getting as many photos as I can, and I'm trying to get my mud trucks ready for the show. My Widow Maker will be in it, I also have a 1984 Ford Bronco, 1991 lifted Ford F-250, 1975 Chevy K-5 Blazer, and a salvaged 1956 Ford pickup that'll be in the show. Can't wait to attend the show, and share the styrene beauties with you all!!!
  7. No prob, anything I can do to help other people enjoy this hobby as much as I do, just makes me enjoy it more. To tell you the truth, the Widow Maker was the first post apocalyptic vehicle I ever tried, and I think it came out looking really good, you just gotta go with you're gut, and let the creativity flow into the model. Keep the truck coming, it's gonna be one mean looking Mack that'll put the Rubber Duck's to shame
  8. This thing looks like a truly brutal monstrosity, I love it!!!! Please let Don know that I think it rocks
  9. I would try to fit some scale C channel into the rails, and then some larger channel for the extensions, from what I have seen of the over all design, the frame wouldn't be too visible on the truck to begin with, and it's easy to explain that the frame was " reinforced " for better durability in a possible impact
  10. This is my design for my next build It starts off with a 1949 Mercury, ( hence the name) and instead of being a close quarters combatent, it uses weapons like rail drivers, and the heavy auto cannon to deal devastating blows from afar. Dunno when I'll start it but some time soon
  11. Kinda interesting to know that the Cedric was Japan's Crown Victoria. Sweet build, it does have the Mad Maxx feel, although, I dunno if he would have a Nissan, a Falcon on the other hand......
  12. you know, almost all the weapons on the Widow Maker are scratch built, it aint as hard as it looks
  13. dude, I gotta get one of those trucks, where did you find it?
  14. Soldier 2 : " uh sir!!" Soldier 1: "ye..... WTF!!! I told you not to get too close!!!!!!! MEDIC!!!!!!!!!!!"
