Kit Basher
]A buddy said I should build a car from my birth year, so I picked this. I tricked it out like I would if I could afford a 1:1. It's got a 5.0L EFI, dual exhausts, disc brakes, and the mags and new tires. The paint is Testors bottle paint a la Donn Yost (Thanks Donn!), Blue Metalflake and Steel. Hope you like it. W-409
Looks very good. The wheel & tire choice is excellent and I love the stance. Paint looks very good too. Not a fan of that type of engine in this kind of Classic Car, but otherwise it looks awesome.

Guest
That's a good looking little '53 Hugh! What happened with the chrome spears on the quarters? I have one of these in the stash that I plan to build a custom with. So, if you need/want them, let me know.

Kit Basher
That's a good looking little '53 Hugh! What happened with the chrome spears on the quarters? I have one of these in the stash that I plan to build a custom with. So, if you need/want them, let me know. I went back and forth several times about putting on those back spears. Ultimately, I like the car better without them. Thanks for all the kind words, guys!

Kit Basher
Nice work. Should have changed out that 6volt battery for a 12volt... I agree. I don't have a parts stash yet, so I had to let it be. Thanks again to all, I'm glad you like it!
