You can use an exsisting kit or scratch build your own. Just make sure that the outside of the master has no flaws (well, as close as you can) and clean. The RTV we use will pick up the smallest detail (even fingerprints.....) and transfer them to the resin copy. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have even used heavy card-stock, regular paper, and drafting velum (great for sheet metal masters).....all of these will make flat parts in the .002" to .008" range......
